Winter 2027 League Info

Our season kicks off on November 2nd and runs across 21 scheduled weeks until April 11th (including a 2-week holiday break in December). The season is divided into three 6-week splits and culminates in a 2-round full-field finale.  

How the Splits Work 

• Fresh Starts: Points reset at the beginning of each split. If your team stumbles early, you get a clean slate at the start of Split 2 and Split 3.  
• Split Events: Each split features 5 official regular-season SGT events (including a designated Split Final week).  
• Team Scoring: As always, the team score for each regular event will be the sum of your two best net score finishers for the week.  

2. Feature Weeks - Canadian Open Tickets 

To break up the season grind, we will be playing 4 Non-Split Feature Events throughout the year (highlighted in yellow on the schedule). These events will have their own standings, separate from the regular season leaderboard. Your score will be posted as a team, and 'Fed-Ex points' will be awarded as usual. After the 4 events, the team with the most Fed-Ex points will win tickets to the Canadian Open at Osprey Valley:  

• Week 3 (Nov 16–22 @ Beacon Hall): Step-Apart Scramble 
• Week 6 (Dec 7–13 @ Magna): Ranger Challenge 
• Week 10 (Jan 18–24 @ Wooden Sticks): 2-Man Alternate Shot 
• Week 16 (Mar 1–7 @ Oakdale): Cha-Cha-Cha 

Note: These 4 feature events do NOT count toward the split points standings or individual leaderboards.

3. The 2-Round Championship Finale & Starting Strokes 

The regular season leads into a 36-hole, 2-round Championship Finale across Week 20 (East Lake) and Week 21 (Georgia Golf Club).  

Every team in the league plays in the 2-round finale, however, top performance during the regular season earns players on your team a handicap stroke advantage starting on Hole 1 of Round 1:  

• Split Winners (1st Place in Split 1, 2, or 3): Each team member starts the Finale at -4 
• Split Runners-Up (2nd Place in Split 1, 2, or 3): Each team member starts the Finale at -2 
• Wildcards / Rest of Field: Start the Finale at EVEN (0) 

(If a team finishes in the top 2 in multiple splits, the stroke advantage rolls down to the next highest team in that split's standings). 

The winner of the Finale will be the team with the lowest 2 man combined net score after 36 holes. 

Example: If your 4 man teams' net scores after 36 holes are +2, +5, +10, and +12, your team score for the Finale is +7. The two higher scores are dropped. The team with the lowest combined net score is the champion.

Individual Competition

As usual we will continue with our season long individual low net, and low gross competition.

Teams will be groups of 4.

$650 + HST per person for the season. 

This gets you into all 21 events for season. 

This fee covers your team's weekly time slot (0.875 hours per teammate, on a standard 3.5 hour booking for a 4-some), prizing, Skins entry, and SimGolfTour website fees.

After you sign up below, the league commissioner (Jack) will be in contact with your team to arrange payment.

This year I am offering a payment plan that follows the 3 Splits in the schedule.

You can elect to make 3 installments of $230 + HST instead of $650 + HST upfront.

Installments are due before the start of each Split.

On the last line of the sign up form below, request your preferred day of week and start time you'd like. Keep in mind that although we have 4 bays, there may be other groups who have already requested the same time as you, meaning your request cannot be fulfilled. A different day or time will need to be selected.

Once confirmed, your weekly timeslot will be booked on your behalf for the duration of the season. Bookings are 3.5 hours each. These bookings will be made under one of your groups' accounts on the booking platform. From here, you will be able to see all of your bookings for the year. If you need to make a scheduling change due to absences, or any other reason, you can cancel the booking, receive the value of the booking back in credits (up to 3 hours before the booking), and rebook at another available time.

Example: You know one of your teammates is not able to make a booking as they are unable to attend. Go to my bookings on the platform, and cancel the booking for that date. You will receive credits for 3.5 hours. Immediately rebook the same start time, but for 2.75 hours for the 3 players who will be there. You can book a separate 45 minute slot at a different time for the individual to play their round. 

Individual prizes will be awarded each week for the lowest net and gross score, closest to the pin, FIRs, GIRs, long drive, and feet of putts made.  Prizes may include:

   - Cash Skins

The Championship will be won by the team with the lowest 2 man combined net score in the Finale . The winners will receive:

   - Engraved trophy to be displayed in the facility

   - Champ T-Shirts

   - 365 Merch

   - Golf balls

   - Free simulator time

   - Bragging rights
